Wyoming Family Sonography, LLC is a mobile ultrasound business serving Wyoming. We currently provide services at locations in Fremont County. We also have the ability to provide services on site including nursing homes, care facilities and patient homes when necessary.
All exams are performed by a registered sonographer, and interpreted by a board certified radiologist.
All our sonographers are registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or ARDMS. In addition, we have sonographers registered in the specialties of Abdomen/Small parts, OB/GYN, Vascular and Cardiac.
You can be assured – we have a commitment to excellence when it comes to the level of care we provide.
Abdomen exams include evaluation of major organs located within the abdomen and pelvic areas including:
Inferior vena cava
Evaluation for abdominal wall abnormalities
GYN and pelvic exams include evaluation of the female organs and/or the bladder and pelvic contents.
GYN evaluation may include transabdominal and transvaginal imaging.
Carotid artery exams include evaluation of the carotid arteries in the neck. This study is done by a registered vascular sonographer, who is trained in the evaluation of the cartid artery flow, velocity and appearance.
Thyroid and Soft Tissue Neck exams include evaluation of the thyroid and parathyroid gland as well as evaluation of the soft tissue of the neck.
Breast exams include either a complete or limited evaluation of breast tissue.
At WFS, we only perform breast exams on patients age 35 and younger. The reason for this is when over the age of 35, the standard of care is to have a mammogram done before an US is considered.
Vascular exams include evaluation of the vascular extremities, including upper and lower extremity arterial, and upper and lower extremity venous studies.
These studies are done by a registered vascular sonographer, who is trained in the evaluation of the arterial and venous flow, velocity and appearance.
OB exams include evaluation of maternal anatomy, placenta, amniotic fluid, fetal growth and fetal anatomy, including extended basic views of the fetal heart.
Also, when requested we are able to perform umbilical cord Doppler and Middle Cerebral Artery Doppler.
Scrotal exams include evaluation of male organs:
Scrotum and surrounding tissue
Musculoskeletal or MSK exams include evaluation of extremity soft tissue, bone surface, muscle, tendons, ligaments and nerves.
Advancement in ultrasound technologies have allowed ultrasound to be a comparable imaging choice to MRI for MSK, but with the added benefits of afforability, patient comfort and dynamic imaging.
